MANILA, Philippines - The winds did not disappoint and colorful kites adorned the skies during the recently concluded The Trion Towers’ Kite Flying event in Bonifacio Global City.
Held at the vacant lot across The Trion Towers showroom in Eighth Avenue corner McKinley Parkway, the event was well-attended by kite enthusiasts, families and children looking for summer fun.
The Trion Towers is a three-tower, 49 storey development from Robinsons Residences, the urban lifestyle brand of Robinsons Land Corporation. Its triangular formation allows for different views from each unit as well as free flow of air and sunlight. Units come in one, two and three bedroom flat units and starts at P3.7M. The construction of Towers 1 & 2 is in full swing already, with Tower 1 nearing its finishing phase.
Kites flown during the event range from various sizes and shapes. Everyone braved the heat and was happily concentrating on keeping their kites in the air, which were a mix of traditional diamond kite designs, as well as eye catching animal forms such as seahorse, octopus, cat, fish and bear.
