Go, go Golf View Terraces

-

MANILA, Philippines - Are you getting outside often enough? Doctors are one in claiming that breathing in fresh air and absorbing morning sunlight is very good for the body. Fresh air produces a healthy mind, clean lungs, and a calmer constitution when we actively use it. Sunlight helps regulate almost all bodily processes, provides warming infrared rays useful in the treatment arthritis or sinusitis, and gives off antiseptic ultraviolet rays which convert cholesterol in the skin into Vitamin D.

With these in mind, South Forbes Golf City, the country’s largest fully-integrated and all-themed golf resort city at the forefront of the Metro Sta. Rosa – Tagaytay corridor, takes you closer to the freshness of nature than anywhere else with its fairway-fronting condominium cluster -- the Golf View Terraces.

“The first of our 5-building cluster, Pebble Beach, has been giving its residents the freshest air, the healthiest morning sun, and the best views in South Forbes since its completion,” said Cathay Land president Jeffrey Ng.

Close to Heaven. The setting of the Golf View Terraces takes advantage of natural elevation changes. It is perched high on the ridge of the hill while the golf course is nestled in the valley below and atop the opposite ridge. Mature vegetation and forests, along with a linear lake that winds throughout the course complement the scenic, rolling topography.

What makes the Golf View Terraces (GVT) unique is how it adapted to the site’s natural sloping terrain. Instead of building straight up, it embraced the earth, hence, the terraces, where each unit moves further out as one descends. From the road, the GVT appears to be a two-storey structure. But from the golf course at the back, it reveals a five-level terrace which emulates a small hill.

Home. Residents and guests entering through the well-appointed porte cochere will be immediately awed at the double-volume lobby with its modern furnishings. Two penthouse levels feature loft units while the lower floors have standard one-level units. In each of these units, a spacious balcony is provided where residents can lounge and enjoy the stunning view of the golf course or simply take pleasure in the cool Tagaytay-like weather all year round. The GVT is an amazing structure that respects both the persons who will occupy it and the environment in which it is located.

Just What I Needed. The GVT unit was designed to hark back to the original period of “cool”, during the 1960s when the space age did much to fuel the imagination of designers and consumers. The open layout of the double-volume kitchen-dining-living areas is done mostly in white with touches of bright orange.
