Vista Land offers easy-to-own homes

-

MANILA, Philippines - “I’ll be home for Christmas. You can count on me,” crooned Bing Crosby. Indeed, it is one of the most enduring songs for the holidays, striking a chord in the hearts of families who spend most of the year apart. And when the most joyful season arrives, it is the promise that the heart whispers and longs the most to hear.

For the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) and the rest of the Global Filipino community, the holidays find greater significance as it marks the opportunity for them to come back and finally see their loved ones from whom they have been away for a year or, in many cases, far more. It is the time for celebration. It is the time for love. Most important of all, it is the time to come home.

Vista Land & Lifescapes Inc., the country’s largest and most trusted homebuilder, has stood side by side the OFWs through their struggles and triumphs. About 35 years ago, the very first home built and sold by its subsidiary, Camella, was purchased by an OFW. The vibrant relationship has not only continued but has strengthened over time with mutual trust and respect. As it has done so in the past three decades, Vista Land pays homage to the years of partnership this Christmas to best honor their contributions and welcome them home.

This season, Vista Land is making it easier for OFWs to come home with a variety of promos and events guaranteed to make owning a home not merely effortless but a joyful event as well. “Home for the Holidays” offers easy-to-own home financing packages among all of Vista Land’s four subsidiaries: Camella, Crown Asia, Brittany and Vista Residences. This special holiday treat would require the homebuyer a mere 5% down payment to be able to move in to one of the ready-for-occupancy homes or condo units, thereby ensuring that the OFWs would have a home for the holidays that they can truly call their own. They can avail of this offer until January 2011.

Furthermore, many other special promotions await them as they shop for a new home. A visit to the property sites and mall booths will yield not only a wealth of information on how to get that much-sought-after key to the front door of one’s own home but will also entitle them to gifts, give-aways and raffle prizes.

Throughout the Vista Land properties nationwide are various activities that will ensure an exciting Christmas celebration for all the residents and their guests. Brittany’s Crosswinds in Tagaytay opened its Christmas Village with a 60-ft high tree. The property hosted a Christmas party for the children of Baseco in support of the Villar Foundation. Crown Asia, on the other hand, brought the nativity to life with a Christmas scene display right outside Valenza in Sta. Rosa. It offers a photo area for motorists and passersby. Camella hosted a nationwide Christmas lighting to usher in the season. The simultaneous lighting of Christmas trees in all Camella communities all over the Philippines was graced by Cha-Cha who led the grand light-up in Manila. The event was made more exciting by Jimmy Bondoc who held a concert right after. Finally, Vista Residences celebrated Christmas by bringing in kids from the Save the Children Foundation for a meaningful and heartwarming occasion.
