A taste of passions at The Meranti

Dubbed “A Bite of Perfection at The Meranti at Two Serendra,” the chocolate-themed day of indulgence catered to culinary pursuits as the renowned Filipino pastry Chef Jackie Laudico of Bistro Filipino shared her secrets in making sweet chocolate creations.

“We decided to jumpstart this monthly brunch series with chocolates, which are often among the favorites of those with a sweet tooth,” says Jennylle Tupaz, Project Development Head of Alveo Land.

Guests were mesmerized as Chef Laudico showcased the techniques for concocting delicious chocolate treats such as chocolate maniere and chocolate mousse. In addition, she highlighted the advantage of having both wide kitchen space and high-grade gastronomic equipment in pursuing her passion for the culinary arts, both of which The Meranti’s Culinary Studio offers. 

“The biggest advantage of the Culinary Studio is space availability; this is significant because most of us have extended families and many friends,” said Laudico. “So with the Culinary Studio being bigger than your own kitchen and dining room, you can entertain and accommodate guests and family with ease.”

Housed at The Living Museum of The Meranti, the Culinary Studio will be a professional grade kitchen that will feature high-grade kitchen equipment and provide a space ideal for its residents’ passion for culinary arts. Aspiring cooks can invite up to 30 family members and friends to join them as they showcase their newest recipes or simply share a bonding experience with great food.
