CREBA Laguna Chapter sets induction
MANILA, Philippines - National president Florentino S. Dulalia, Jr. of the Chamber of Real Estate & Builders’ Associations, Inc. (CREBA) will induct the newly-elected officers of the CREBA Laguna Chapter at noontime of June 26, 2010, Saturday at the Wonder Island Resort in Calamba City, Laguna.
Leading the inductees are incoming CREBA Chapter President Ricardo L. Caravana and incoming Chairman Atty. Rudy R. Castillo, himself a past president of the chapter and incumbent CREBA regional director for Region 4, CALABARZON area.
CREBA is the Philippine umbrella organization of professionals and entities engaged in real estate and housing development, tourism facilities, building and construction, technical consultancy, marketing and other related services. With its advocacy programs and initiatives, it has become government’s strongest ally in pursuing a truly rational and affordable national housing program.
Other officers to be inducted are: Edilberto B. Tamis, vice-president; Lea F. Almiranez, corporate secretary; Resaly M. Villanueva, treasurer; Pete Jose Yu, public relations officer; with Bernadeth C. Zamora, Dominic Rola, and Leny T. Salig as directors.
During the induction rites, CREBA Vice-President for Chapter Affairs Julius G. Topacio will administer the oath of new members and provide update on Chapter affairs programs and activities. Mr. Pedro C. Tario, CREBA past president will lead the charging ceremonies. The event will also serve as the launching of the Chapter’s Business Exchange Listing and Linkages project, also known as “BELL.”
Founded in 2002, the CREBA Laguna chapter has been undertaking socio-civic activities to help the local communities. Last December 2009, CREBA, through the chapter, spearheaded a relief operation in partnership with the Lions Club for Ondoy-Peping victims in Laguna Bay.
Meanwhile, President Dulalia announced the CREBA Southern Luzon Council would meet to discuss the holding of the 1st Southern Luzon Regional Real Estate & Housing Conference with other chapter presidents from Rizal, Laguna, Marinduque, Quezon Province, Palawan, Batangas, Naga and Legaspi.
