Housewarming event unveils Tamara model

MANILA, Philippines - An exotic Indian theme reflected the rich flavors and inspired elements of the Tamara model house during its unveiling in an intimate gathering dubbed as a “housewarming” party held recently at Mahogany Place III in Taguig City.

Developed by DMCI Homes, Mahogany Place III is a prestigious residential village sprawled on a 7.6-hectare prime property in the quiet side of Taguig. Fr. Cesar Echegaray from the Reyna ng Apostoles Church started the program with an invocation and blessing of the model house, which was attended by prospective buyers, unit owners, DMCI Homes employees, sellers, and business partners. Representing the company were Arch. Rina Soriano, DMCI Homes Architectural Design Manager, and Ms. Cherrie Lyn Cruz, DMCI Homes marketing manager, who led the ribbon-cutting activities.

The house blessing also included the customary tossing of coins which is a very Filipino tradition that signifies the shower of blessings and the spirit of sharing luck. This custom is typically observed at house blessings or housewarming parties where new dwellers open their house to relatives, guests, and neighbors.

Mahogany Place III is expected to witness a number of these housewarming parties in the coming weeks, giving the home owners an idea of how they can celebrate the turnover of their brand new home.
