McKinley Hill hosts fun run

-

MANILA, Philippines - As part of its efforts in building a green community, McKinley Hill in Fort Bonifacio is hosting a fun run this Sunday, Jan. 24.

The fun run will feature three races. The 3km race is ideal for beginners and casual joggers, 5km for intermediate runners and 10km for more experienced runners. Assembly time is 5am at the McKinley Hill open grounds at the rear of Chinese International School Manila.

Proceeds from the registration will benefit Haribon Foundation’s programs, such as the preservation of native Philippine flora & fauna species.

“We decided to organize our own fun run after playing venue to many races over the past two years. Fun runs help foster good community relationships, essential to a growing community like McKinley Hill. Partnering with Haribon Foundation boosts our corporate social responsibility efforts for the preservation of the environment,” noted Megaworld FVP for marketing and project head Noli Hernandez. Megaworld Corp. is the developer behind the new McKinley Hill township.

Runners will appreciate the challenges posed by the gently rolling terrain of McKinley Hill, according to Hernandez. They will also get to view completed projects such as McKinley Hill Village as well as pass by the new British Embassy and the Piazza mall development.

Interested runners may register at the Forbes Town Center showroom at 26th St. corner Rizal Drive, Bonifacio Global City or at the McKinley Hill showroom along Upper McKinley Road. Or call 815-1888 for more details.
