DLSU, PABA HR course set
MANILA, Philippines - An ongoing Post Graduate Certificate Program on Property Management (PGCPM) is being offered by the De La Salle University (DLSU) through its Center for Professional Development in Business and Economics (CPDBE) in cooperation with the Philippine Association of Building Administrators (PABA). Titled “Human Resource Management in Property Management”, the 42-hour course will give the participants a comprehensive overview of human resource management as applied in property management. The 14 three-hour sessions will begin on Jan. 12, 2010, and will be conducted on Tuesdays from 6 to 9 p.m. at 5/F DLSU-Graduate School of Business Campus, RCBC Plaza Tower 2 at the corner of Ayala Avenue and Gil Puyat Avenue, Makati City.
The PGCPM is a series of seven 42-hour modules designed for trade professionals of the country’s building administrators, property managers and developers of office and residential condominiums, commercial buildings, malls and shopping centers, industrial, educational, recreational, townhouse and subdivision development projects. It is also aimed at those wanting to pursue a career in the property management industry.
Managers, especially property managers, need to develop a greater understanding of the principles and skills in HRM to build a strong multi-disciplinary team responsive to the highly discriminating property owners and their equally discriminating clients, tenants or users.
