MANILA, Philippines - With the present economic slowdown and looming recession, moneyed individuals should now seek investments that are primarily safe and secured from losses and diminishing value and secondarily provide a good and acceptable, even though lower return. Putting one’s money in real estate, after setting aside some for liquidity, is one of the best alternative for this investment objective. However, a lot of knowledge has to be learned before investing in real estate. Otherwise, because of the broad, diverse and changing intricacies and techniques of real estate, it could be a very sad learning experience.
As such, there is a strong and urgent need to guide incoming beginners and prospective real estate investors, lessors, dealers and developers as well as the old ones from the terrible misfortunes of loss-making investments.
In this regard, series of lectures on the different how to’s of Investing in Real Estate are continuously conducted by Urban Institute of Real Estate for prospective investors, developers, landowners and realty professionals for them to gain sufficient insights and confidence to finally implement proposed real estate investments. Participants learn the ABC’s of real estate principles and avoid costly mistakes that were normally suffered by inexperienced investors, and thus were guided to a pleasant and successful real estate business.
