The Mandarin Square unveiled
MANILA, Philippines - Great leaders can achieve great things. But while they can succeed and thrive alone, true excellence comes from recognizing kindred spirits, forming partnerships and working together towards the loftiest of endeavors.
The Mandarin Square, a residential tower being built in the heart of Binondo, is one such endeavor. It is a steadily growing testament to the merit in seeking a partner whose standards and ideals are as steadfast and idealistic as one’s own. It is a project that is taking shape under the united direction and efforts of Anchor Land Holdings, Inc. (ALHI) and EEI Corporation, both occupying the top echelons of their respective fields.
Located at 777 Ongpin Street, the Mandarin Square is the ALHI’s second high-rise residential project in the Chinatown area, the first being the prominent 33-storey Lee Tower several blocks away. The Lee Tower was a runaway success as the tallest residential high-rise in the area, complete with comprehensive amenities. Thanks to its popular and critical acclaim from both residents and the community, ALHI immediately looked to the next step: an even bigger and better luxury residence for discriminating A-list clients.
To achieve ALHI’s dream of the next stage in Binondo’s residential revitalization and development, it sought the strong portfolio and expertise of longtime construction paragon EEI Corporation. The Mandarin Square is in good hands, with EEI on track towards effective completion well within schedule, topping off the 39-floor project towards the end of 2008.
The Elements of Luxury
The Mandarin Square will be the tallest residential high-rise in Binondo, exceeding even its towering predecessor, the Lee Tower. To manage a vertical range that substantial, the structure will boast four high-speed elevators that are more than up to the task of efficiently and safely ferrying both people and assets from the posh lobbies all the way up to the penthouse.
A variety of living spaces has been designed for the Mandarin Square, ranging from practical two-bedroom units to luxurious five-bedroom suites that are more than suitable for housing a large family. A total of 284 units will be available, a selection of which are spacious lofts and lavish penthouse arrangements.
The structure, while primarily a residential one, is not limited to simply housing its clients. It is intended to be a centralized hub that caters to every possible need and luxury, dedicating its entire 7th floor to advanced residential amenities such as swimming pools, a wet bar, spa services, a gym, and many others. Of particular note is the presence of basketball and badminton courts, which are unique to the Mandarin Square and cannot be found in any other residential structure in Manila.
The privileged clientele of the Mandarin Square need never worry about parking, one of the most critical aspects of Binondo life. Over 300 slots across six floors guarantee substantial room for residents, on top of round-the-clock security.
The most impressive aspect of the Mandarin Square, above all else, is the unified practicality it offers to its clientele.
