Alsons Properties unveils new Davao projects

MANILA, Philippines - Alsons Properties, owner-developer of trendsetting, high-end subdivision projects in Davao City such as Ladislawa Garden Village, Woodridge Park and Las Terrazas, is introducing to the public its latest projects — Northcrest in Cabantian and Fernwood in Eden.

Northcrest which is part of Davao City’s Buhangin District, is a few minutes away from the Davao International Airport and close to other prime residential communities and commercial centers. The 40-hectare residential enclave sets the new standard in Asian tropical living. Alsons’ designers emphasize the interplay of contemporary Asian architectural form with the outdoors.

Located 900 meters above sea level, Fernwood is a seven-hectare private second home community in Eden, Toril, Davao City. Says Eric de la Costa, director of sales and marketing, “this weekend home subdivision is an eco-friendly community where one can enjoy quiet and relaxation. Lot owners are expected to preserve the natural environment by refraining from any form of noise pollution, conserving water, properly segregating and disposing waste, and planting trees indigenous to the area.”

Fernwood has 86 lots with typical lot sizes of 500 and 800 square meters. It is 30 kilometers to Davao City proper (about 40 minutes) and 40 kilometers to the airport (60 minutes).

The village has a gate and guardhouse, parks and playground and a pavilion designed by the renowned architectural firm of Leandro V. Locsin and partners. Its facilities include wide roads, underground drainage system, sewerage treatment facility, seven-foot perimeter wall, streetlighting and 24-hour village security.
