PABA conducts short courses

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Association of Building Administrators, Inc. (PABA), the country’s foremost and biggest association of property managers and building administrators in its continuing effort to professionalize the property management industry by providing property management education and skill enhancement techniques in the country, will conduct a series of short course seminars that aims to further improve and enhance industry practitioners’ knowledge in Property and Building Administration to encourage the highest standard of practice in the industry.

The participants will gain knowledge in: importance of appraisal in building management; are you paying more on your insurance premium; how often do you need a building appraisal and do you get your money’s worth from your appraisal and insurance companies. Learn the answer to these questions and more from aptly prepared lecture and an open forum session to be ready and equipped for your building operation and management.

The five short course seminars are scheduled as follows: Course 1: Oral Communication Skills (January 23 & 30, 2009); Course 2: Engineering for Non-Engineers (February 20 & 27, 2009); Course 3: Appraisal in Building Management (March 20 & 27, 2009); Course 4; Budgeting for building Operations (April 17 & 24, 2009); Course 5; Interpret a Master Deed (May 22 & 29, 2009).
