Location and value for money seals the deal
MANILA, Philippines - Dr. Gina Lorna Tugade-Carandang, a dentist, and her husband, Laredo, were set on buying a condominium unit in Makati. The day before closing the deal with another developer, the couple passed by WalterMart to have their pictures taken for their US visa renewal. As fate would have it, the photo-studio was fronted by The Beacon sales booth. Attracted by the scaled model of The Beacon, they decided to pass by the booth and was met by a sales agent. The couple listened to the agent’s enthusiastic assertions then decided to watch a movie.
“My husband, a practicing architect, initially liked the design and features presented to us, so I told him that if the agent is still there when the film ended, maybe the site and showroom nearby deserve to be checked out. Before we could even reach the ground floor, we were already met by Chiely, the sales agent!” Gina recalls vividly.

Currently residing in Parañaque, the Carandangs, who happen to have two daughters and a son as the youngest, plan to make their latest investment a half-way house, between work, school and their permanent residence in Parañaque.
“My husband, being a licensed interior designer as well, is already teeming with ideas for the units. Our daughters are both excited and can already see themselves transferring here on weekdays because of its location and amenities. The resort type swimming pool is so inviting,” she says excitedly.
In fact, Dr. Carandang likes the development so much that she has convinced her sibling and some friends to purchase their own units.
