Fitness comes first at Dansalan Gardens
Apart from almost regular trips to the mall, a visit to the gym once or twice a week has become part of many people’s daily routine. While some see going to the gym as a hip thing to do, many do so for their health.
Exercise is important in one’s daily life. Studies show that, not only does exercise improve health, it prevents a number of life-threatening conditions. However, wanting to go to the gym and actually becoming a member are two different things. Because of their busy schedules and their distance from a decent fitness center, some people either fail to visit the gym at all or drop out from their programs. Those who are lucky to visit regularly either live near or work near the gym.
Alan J. Bonus has been the resident fitness trainer since the gym opened two years ago. A certified instructor, he draws up the fitness programs of members, assists them in using the different equipment at the gym, and supervises them achieve overall wellness. He agrees that the convenience of having a gym near your home helps encourage gym goers to visit regularly, as well as cutting down the possibility of dropping out from sessions. It also lessens the problem of having to find parking at the mall.
“It’s so easy to just go down to the gym from your unit and work out,” he says. “When you’re done, you just go back up to shower and change.”
