Riverfront’s resort lifestyle
The resort living lifestyle is an aspiration for most middle-income earners seeking to provide a decent home for their family. With the frenzied pace of city living, people need a serene environment where they can de-stress after a long work day without having to travel far or spend more. They desire to feel soothed and have quality time with their loved ones in a venue offering convenient access to recreation and leisure.
At Riverfront Residences by DMCI Homes, such lifestyle is available year-round — it’s right outside their doorstep and around this emerging community. Just recently, the developer has announced the completion of the community’s clubhouse and pool area along with the first two of nine buildings, for residents to enjoy.
Tet Abad Santos, project director of Riverfront Residences, said that construction of the clubhouse was started during the first quarter of 2007 and was completed on schedule in December the same year – attesting to the track record in speedy construction, which DMCI Homes is known for. The expansive amenity area was finally opened for residents early this year to coincide with the turnover of units for buildings Colorado and Danube.
Nestled in the center of the development, the 1,290-sqm clubhouse features two levels with a lower ground that will contain the following service outlets: water station, laundry pick-up, bakeshop, fitness gym, convenience store, and the Property Management Office (PMO). The upper ground level has a spacious lounge area and function room where residents can unwind and meet with guests. The second floor houses an air-conditioned multi-function hall that can accommodate up to 130 guests for various occasions.
Modern Asian theme
Rina Soriano, architectural and design manager of DMCI Homes, described the clubhouse as a structure that adheres to modern Asian aesthetics. “The design intent is all about earth tones and browns, with fine lines and very minimal moldings characterizing the structures. Trellises and asphalt shingles soften the look of the façade, while the whole area is surrounded by a verdant landscape of flowering plants,” she related.
Pam Maningas, resident senior interior designer of DMCI Homes, meanwhile, elaborated about the design concept of the clubhouse. “My inspiration for the clubhouse design was a Malibu beach house, which exudes a modern, contemporary resort feel. The same way, we chose customized furniture and Asian accents to coordinate with the resort feel and create a ‘wow’ factor. We even made the lighting assume the look of ship sails to convey a beach feel,” she said.
For furnishing of the clubhouse, the designer selected wood with suede-like fabric in warm colors that are both inviting and elegant. Two-toned accent pillows, sculptures from Ugu Bigyan, furniture from Philfoam Mandaue Furniture, Dizon Furniture and VLF Wood Furniture & Veneers, fountains from Berde Plants Inc., and flower arrangements by Desenyo Filipina Inc. further capture the look of a tropical paradise in a contemporary setting. Customized lighting fixtures were exclusively made by Lising Crafts and accessories from Truly Asia Artifacts complete the look. These elements adhere to the inspired design philosophies of the DMCI Homes Showroom Department, which is headed by Adam Trinidad.
Facility maintenance
As the office in charge of property management, the Property Management Office (PMO), headed by Ramon Concepcion, maintains Riverfront Residences as a clean, safe, secured and efficiently managed condominium complex.
Amelia Gina Caragay, Riverfront Residences’ PMO manager, said that they will provide safety and security services for the property, along with housekeeping services to maintain cleanliness and the physical upkeep of the project. A technical team will offer regular maintenance of equipments and facilities to ensure residents will not have to worry about such concerns in their community.
