Delightful treats at Sycamore

-

“Coffee is good. Books are great. Combining the two is a delightful treat.” This was the theme of the open house which was held recently at Sycamore Tower, the 31-storey residential condominium building that stands just three blocks away from EDSA, at the corner of Boni Avenue and M. Vicente St. (formerly Dansalan St.), right at the center of Mandaluyong, midway between the Ortigas commercial center and the Makati business districts. The total building footprint occupy 35 percent of the 8,000 sqm. property, while 65 percent is allocated to open spaces including landscaped gardens, pools, and recreational facilities. At the open house, invited guests and prospective buyers saw for themselves what it would be like to live in this generous pocket of living space within the very heart of the congested metropolis.

The experience of a resort-like lifestyle starts with the hotel-type lobby and reception counter. At the showroom, guests had a chance to view the scale model and an audio-visual presentation about the development. Photo panels as well as plasma screens were set up in strategic corners so guests can also view the AVP. The multi-purpose hall beside the swimming pool and kiddie’s wading pool served as the main venue for the afternoon activities. A coffee station was set up where both hot and cold coffee drinks were served by Figaro, complemented by sweet and savory finger foods from Bizu. A books and reading area featured “must read” books from Booktopia including top ten picks such as “A Very Long Engagement”, “Harry Potter-Final Book”, “The Hours”, “Blink”, and “Love in the Time of Cholera”. An acoustic band provided ambience music that underscored the relaxed mood that living at Sycamore Tower offers.
