Amore: Brittany’s new enclave at Portofino
March 2, 2007 | 12:00am
When maverick real estate developer Brittany Corp. builds, it goes all the way. Its famed masterplanned communities are a testament to its commitment to greatness from the ground up. Guided by imagination, inspiration and ceaseless vision, Brittany Corp. builds with the future in mind.
Refashioning 300 hectares of land along the Las Pinas-Cavite-Laguna-Muntinlupa Link Road, the result is a unique masterfully planned community that is unprecedented in terms of concept.
Sculpting the property stone by stone, Brittany Corp. created Portofino, an inspired development that combines Italian aesthetics with Filipino sensibilities. Cobble-stoned paths, sun-drenched colors, cupolas, and balconies dominate the landscape that respects both cultures’ that may seem worlds apart but are surprisingly similar.
At the heart of the Portofino development is a newly-opened 11-hectare enclave that is Amore. Amore of Portofino makes concrete all the attributes of love with lots of Tuscan heart. Echoing the rustic Tuscan countryside, it sits on prime, fertile, rolling terrain cradled by trees and can easily be accessed through three major road arteries. Within its walls lies a paradise that truly speaks the language of love and passion.
"Amore is about a deep sense of commitment to family. It is also about romance and passion. It believes in celebrating life every single second and ensuring that this revelry of the soul is reflected on everything that surrounds the body. These are the core values that are surprisingly both very Italian and very Filipino. And this, we are proud to say, is very Portofino!" enthused Jing Serrano, president of Brittany Corp.
Amore distinguishes itself from the other Portofino properties through its architectural details. The cupola, among others, is unique because it is squarish, while the cupolas in the Courtyards of Portofino are circular.
Another unique feature of Amore would be the clusters – an assemblage of four single-detached residential units with a common paved driveway and a landscaped pocket garden. The clusters offer further exclusivity in an enclave that is already extremely secure. Although a part of the Portofino development and its security system, Amore also has its own perimeter fence for added protection.
In February, Amore of Portofino offers five model units to accommodate the varied requirements and tastes of clients with floor areas ranging from 139sqm to 210sqm. and packages range from the mid P8.7 million to P13 million. In February, Amore opened Tavola, a 204-square meter Tuscan- inspired model home.
