At Rockwell: New year, new beginnings

2007 will definitely be an exciting year for Rockwell Land Corporation (Rockwell) as the company welcomes one milestone after the next. From the groundbreaking of its signature project Number One Rockwell, to the completion of highly-anticipated Joya, and its upcoming venture into township through Rockwell at Sta. Elena, the company definitely has a myriad of activities lined up!

One of the things also keeping the company busy is the upcoming relocation of their executive offices to a modern structure come January 2007. This is to give way to the Rockwell’s signature project, Number One Rockwell that will break ground in the first quarter of 2007.

The new Rockwell Information Center promises to be yet another testament to Rockwell’s prowess in creating iconic structures that becomes benchmarks for the construction and real property development industries. It is set to rise on the 4,210 sqm plot of land that was formerly an open car park along Rockwell Drive, fronting Power Plant Mall.

Designed by a team of architects led by Arlen de Guzman and Alice Erfe, the new establishment bears quite a resemblance to The Glass House — a perfect combination of classic, sophisticated and modern architectural design.

Construction of the new information center and breakfast nook began in May 2006. Its completion in mid-January 2007 will bring another welcome addition to Rockwell’s picturesque landscape.
