All about fitness at Ayala Westgrove

Residents can now enjoy more fun fitness activities with the launch of the badminton and tennis courts at Ayala Westgrove Heights’ new sports center. The third clubhouse in the sprawling village developed by Ayala Land Premier, the sports center offers badminton and tennis enthusiasts with premium playing court for their enjoyment.

A special Mass was held to celebrate the completion of the sports facilities, followed by the blessing of both the tennis and badminton courts. A sumptuous buffet lunch was laid out for residents and guests, who also signed up to try out the new courts. Guests were also treated to a free foot spa at the Wellness area, while children had a grand time playing darts and basketball in the special play area set up. Ayala Land Premier sales specialists were also on hand to show prospective clients around the village.

The highlight of the launch was the exhibition match held by tennis greats Dyan and Jackie Castillejo, and badminton whiz kids and national champions Kennie and Kennevic Asuncion. The four also held a special tennis and badminton clinic for enthusiasts, teaching even the kids the proper form and stance and giving tips on playing the games.

With the completion of the sports facilities, Ayala Westgrove Heights can indulge their love of tennis and badminton rain or shine. Perfect for lawn tennis, the huge indoor grass court is well-lighted so tennis fans can play well into the night.

The badminton court, on the other hand, is large enough to accommodate three games played simultaneously. The playing surface is covered with special sports flooring that provides safety without compromising performance.

Apart from the badminton and tennis courts, as well as the Wellness Center and function rooms, Ayala Westgrove Heights’ residents can also look forward to other enhancements to the new sports center.
