You have arrived

When youre young, independent and upwardly mobile, you reach a point in your life when you realize youre exactly where you were meant to be. Its when you can acknowledge that youve made the right choices, worked hard and can now reward yourself with a place to call your very own.
Understanding the needs of such individuals, DMCI Homes are developing the Cypress Towers, located in Taguig City. Composed of four residential towers designed to provide maximum lighting, ventilation and optimum privacy, the Cypress Towers reflect the drive and ambition of its residents.
As senior manager for Sales and Dealings, 35-year-old broker, Paul Rafael is familiar with competition on and off the stock market floor.
An avid gym buff, who also finds as much time as he can for soccer and badminton, Rafael is part of a growing number of professionals who have taken the "work-hard-play-hard" philosophy to heart.
"Its how I decompress after work and stay on top of my game," he explains.
For go-getters like Rafael, the Cypress Towers gym, ground floor swimming pool, basketball and badminton courts, and landscaped jogging and bike paths are more than convenient amenities. They are an integral part of a lifestyle premised on success.
"Its not so much about status. Its more about giving yourself the means to achieve your goals. In a way, working out at the gym and sports help me keep my edge at work," he adds.
But according to Rafael, the best part is, "being able to take a quick elevator ride instead of driving to take a shower after a workout."
Twenty-five year old Tin Bolasco can easily relate. Working as a training supervisor, teaching English and American culture for a call center in nearby Fort Bonifacio Global City, Bolasco knows all about driving in traffic and working odd hours. From her old house near Katipunan in Quezon City, the drive to work could take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour depending on what shift she drew and the traffic she could expect to encounter along the way.
With a job so close to Cypress Towers, Bolasco appreciates that aside from getting just a little more shuteye, a unit at Cypress Towers means "not having to dodge traffic jams or deal with reckless drivers at 3 in the morning."
A convenient location isnt the only practical consideration on Bolascos mind. She also appreciates the Cypress Towers dedication to the security of their residents as evident in the reception lobby, 24-hour security, perimeter fence and parking building. "I sleep better at night knowing it wont be easy for anyone to just stroll in from the street," she says.
As for the chance to decorate her own space, Bolasco admits to an austere streak that leans towards the simple and modern. "I have my moms place to keep most of my junk so for my own place, Id actually prefer things to be neat, tidy and very low maintenance. I wouldnt mind staying at one of the smaller units since that just means I wont have to spend most of my time cleaning," she confesses with a laugh.
Equally utilitarian in his own unconventional way, public relations whiz, Chris Cahilig enjoys being right in the middle of all the action. As someone whose living involves being up to date on trends, events, and staying on top of the latest developments, the 25-year-old behind Chris Cahilig Consultancy revels in the fact that Cypress Towers allows him easy access to anywhere he has to be.
"Its really the ideal location for my needs. For work, Im within an hours drive north or south of all my clients. For play, the Fort and Makati are practically at my doorstep with Manila and Greenhills just a little bit farther," he says with genuine enthusiasm.
Its been just over five years since Cahilig first set up shop in Kamuning, Quezon City; but for this entrepreneurial spirit, all doors are wide open and the view from the Cypress Towers view deck looks particularly appealing.
For people like Paul Rafael, Tin Bolasco, Chris Cahilig and others like them, the doors are wide open and now everything seems within reach. Congratulations, you have arrived at Cypress Towers.
