A. Venue on the rise

Construction of The A. Venue Hotel and Residential Suites along Makati Avenue is now in full swing as the tower’s three basement levels, three podium basement parking and ground floor have been finished. Ongoing roughing-ins of electrical, plumbing, sanitary and fire protection works have now reached the fourth floor level, which will soon house most of the amenities of the high-end residential tower.

Felino Lao, marketing director of Antel Land Holdings Inc., the developer of The A. Venue tower, expressed that every aspect of construction epitomizes the current thrust of the project, which is to offer five-star amenities and quality to its future tenants.

"As the developer, we want to deliver the best product to our future clients. We want to ensure that every part of the development is up to our five-star standard of quality. That is why we don’t implement shortcuts in any part of our construction. We don’t want to sacrifice quality just to speed up our turn over of the project," stated Lao.

Upon completion of the project in the third quarter of 2007, the new tower will rise to 28 floors with 356 well-appointed one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom residential suites and will offer a "beamless and column-free design" that will ensure more usable space and volume for the interior design of the hotel and residential suites. Known as "structure as design" this modern construction technique is being implemented by the project’s principal architect of Edward Co Tan and Architects.

Tan explained that the design technique "will avoid the traditionally protruding column or wall that can be seen in old buildings, but instead include both in the thickness of the wall to lessen the cross-sectional area or wall surface.

Aside from the cutting edge design, future residents of the 1.7 hectare prime tower in Makati Avenue will also be able to enjoy five-star amenities such as a grand ballroom, three interconnected 220 sq.m. swimming pools, a coffee shop, indoor game, home theater lounge, fitness center, daycare center, library and business center, a children’s playground and a his and hers sauna facility.

Another added plus that will soon attract more investors is the now rising A. Venue Events Mall, a three story edifice that will be the newest premier entertainment and leisure venue and slated to be turned over by the end of July 2006.
