World-class family club in QC

Amid the picturesque views of the Sierra Madre mountain ranges, a family and sports club perched on a hilltop is expected to meet world-class standards in club lifestyle for its resident-members in Quezon City and neighboring communities east of Manila.

Leading property developer Filinvest Land, Inc. (FLI) embarks on another leisure development called Timberland Sports and Nature Club, a nine-hectare exclusive family club in Timberland Heights in San Mateo, Rizal, providing an array of dining and entertainment options and complete facilities for traditional sports and outdoor recreational activities.

Situated atop the San Mateo mountain range with an elevation as high as 345 meters above sea level, the club offers a splendid view of the Manila Bay, Makati and Ortigas skyline.

The club offers 89,000 square meters of indoor and outdoor or "nature-based" amenities and facilities, with its five-level club building having approximately 16,000 square meters of gross floor area. The first of two phases of development is targeted to be operational within the second quarter of 2007.

On its first phase, the club will have a family restaurant with private dining rooms, a pool bar, a sports bar, a library, a KTV, indoor and outdoor play areas for children, and spa with dip pool, sauna, steam and 10 treatment rooms.

Sports facilities include a swimming pool, badminton courts, a multipurpose hall convertible to basketball, badminton and soccer courts, tennis courts, gym, indoor climbing wall, table tennis, and billiards. Hiking trails and barbecue areas are among its nature facilities.

Second-phase expansion plans will cater to corporate needs. The club will offer a convention and banquet facilities such as a ballroom and several function rooms and nature areas for team-building activities such as ropes course, canopy walk and camping grounds. Overnight room accommodations will be available to support these requirements, alongside its goal to provide an ideal weekend getaway for families.
