Canyon Ranch benefits from SLEX upgrade

The upgrade of the South Luzon Expressway is set to begin this month. The P11-billion project will involve the widening of the Alabang to Sta Rosa portion to eight lanes, the Sta Rosa to Calamba section to six lanes and the Calamba to Sto Tomas segment to four lanes. "This improved road network will further increase growth in the South," says Jose Marco Antonio, managing director of Century Properties Inc.

In partnership with Manila Jockey Club, Century Properties thru its development arm Century Communities Corporation is transforming 17 hectares of premium land in Carmona to one of the country’s finest gated residential communities.

According to Antonio the SLEX upgrade will definitely ease travel to and from the city central. This he says will make the South even more attractive.

With the population of Metro Manila now at 12 million the South is experiencing a lot of growth. "Imagine country living only a few minutes away from Makati," remarks Antonio.
