Ponderosa Leisure Farms was created to be the second home. "Very few people are able to enjoy, much less maintain, their own garden," says Ponderosa Leisure Farms Business Development. "Most people in the city will have a tiny garden, some flower pots here and there. But its certainly not as satisfying and liberating as having a generous amount of space to work with, in a place that is relaxing, and freed of the noise and activity of the city."
The model house which was recently completed has a demo garden to give lot owners ideas on what they can do with their own gardens through a showcase of plants, various flowers, or even farm plots, using various agricultural methods. Bouganvilleas, white angels, star clusters are some shrubs grow there, so do crops such as lettuce, cauliflower, cucumber, and herbs.
Casa Ponderosa features three bedrooms ideally, one for the grandparents, one for the parents, and another for the kids. Each room has its own pocket garden which can be viewed from the toilet and bath.
The living and dining room with terrace overlooks the landscaped lawn. While preparing meals in the lovely kitchen, home grown vegetables from the garden may be used.
The patio, which provides a beautiful view of the rising sun in the morning is perfect for barbecue parties for families and friends. Other features include the powder room, laundry area, servants quarters and the garage.
Casa Ponderosas theme is Rustic Mexican-Spanish influence promoting a resort and "farm" feel of the project. Big picturesque windows overlook scenic views. Arched doorways, vigas, niches and trellis are used to accentuate the areas. The central courtyard with a birdbath acts as a focal point of the major functional living spaces. Truly, Casa Ponderosa, with the use of ornamental plants, Mexican design elements, capture the essence of outdoor leisure living.
