Addmix does magic to cement

AddMix is a new product of Global Brands, the makers of Super Vulcaseal and Original Rugby. Add-mix was launched during the National Convention of the United Architects of the Philippines held recently at the Manila Hotel. The product was properly demonstrated to the participants of the convention and got the nod of architects, engineers, contractors and suppliers of construction materials during the demonstrations.

Addmix has a variety of products designed to suit every need. There is Addmix Ultra, the concrete fortifier, Addmix Easy, the mortar and plaster enhancer and Addmix Plus, the cement saver and volume expander. These products are available in 150 gm. sachets. One box contains fifty sachets and can be stored for two years.

According to Billy Arrienda, AVP for construction & business development of Global Brands, the Addmix powder is basically made of non-hazardous substances specifically synthetic carboxylated and sulphanated polymers and reactive silica-based and air entraining polymers. He said that this powder is designed to impart water reduction, plasticizing effect and volume enhancement qualities to cement-based mixtures.

Addmix Easy is intended for mortar and plastering requirements. It contains shrinkage compensating agents as well as redispensable acrylic bonding agent to enhance thirotropic and bonding properties.

Addmix Ultra is the cement saver and concrete fortifier, recommended for all types of concrete mixes requiring high strength, high flowability and workability and for the precast concrete.

Addmix Plus, the cement Saver and Volume Expander, is recommended for concrete hollow blocks precasted light elements and job-mixed concrete no more than 25Mpa.
