Close family ties thrive in Ayala Greenfield
May 8, 2004 | 12:00am
Sisters Jean Arzadon and Molly Fernandez have always been close, even before they moved abroad. Sharing a house was never a problem here or in the US, even after they started their own families. Both women remain in constant contact with each other and their siblings in the Philippines; continuously nurturing close family ties wherever they may end up working and living.
Jean currently works as a claim specialist in the University of Washington, while Molly has an accounting job in Colorado, where she lives with her husband Albert. After over two decades as US residents, the sisters decided to go back to the country during their free time and look for a place where they could spend much-needed extended vacations. It didnt take long, as their decisiveness eventually led them to Ayala Greenfield Estates.
"One of my sisters was talking about this place in Laguna. She said she already bought a lot here. We visited the site, and when we saw it, we were very pleased and decided to buy, too. This is supposed to be our retirement place," Jean enthusiastically shares.
Jean and Molly pooled their resources to secure the lot, and gave their architect the necessary input on a design that went for the maximization of their propertys considerable space. The house is nearly finished and is currently undergoing the final, crucial beautification touches. Its owners constantly check on its development, confident that it will be completely habitable in just a few more months. Jean claims that shes looking forward to living Ayala Greenfield Estates for longer periods eventually.
