As physicians, Ramil and Lourdes Garcia both have hectic, unpredictable schedules. They do their best to enjoy quality time with their daughters whenever the opportunities present themselves, finding a functional balance between family and work responsibilities. Even before the couple decided to look for a new place to live in, security was their utmost concern. "Security was a major problem in our previous home. I had to call from the hospital every night just to check on the children, or if the doors were properly locked," explains Ramil. The perfect home was seemingly nowhere in sight, he adds: "We must have checked on more than a dozen houses around Metro Manila. Then one day, we passed by Montgomery Place on our way to work."

Lourdes was initially unimpressed with what Montgomery Place had to offer. It took quite some time for Ayala Land’s townhouse endeavor to grow on her. "It didn’t look like the homes have enough space. Plus, there seemed to be very little development. So imagine my surprise after I saw the improvements when we checked it out again. We realized it was everything we were looking for," shares Lourdes.

They have found their new home not only as a precious, humble refuge for themselves, but for visiting relatives and friends as well.

"My wife’s nephews from the province stay with us. They love swimming at the Townhall clubhouse and biking around the village. We just let them play around without worrying about them and wandering somewhere unsafe," enthuses Ramil.
