An oriental garden blooms in Makati

-
A pleasing landscape of colorful, flowering shrubs of lilacs, spider lilies and a mélange of golden showers, light pink flowering trees and purple trailing lantana growing amidst golden bamboo and palmerias. . . this is the enhancement of an oriental garden blooming in Oriental Gardens Makati. A welcome wonderful reprieve from disappearing gardens in the concrete jungle of Makati and a refreshing change of scenery for residents and neighbors as well.

The garden that blooms in the heart of Makati, between Oriental Garden’s Orchid and Lotus Towers, is only the beginning of what one can anticipate to find in this world-class condominium project. Soon to be completed is the 8th floor resort-style swimming pool that takes center stage next to an outdoor Jacuzzi, rock garden, koi pond, moongate playground and meditation nooks that provide a sweeping view of both Makati and Manila skyline.

For Federal Land, Inc., this is a basic thrust in their day-to-day business and that is to create communities that provide a well-deserved and improved lifestyle for the Filipino today and future generations. Along with this vision is their commitment to nation-building through the development of model communities for Filipino families and social responsibility in making a conscious effort in addressing issues and concerns for the upliftment of the communities that we live in.

Federal Land Inc. has been around for over 30 years, building vertical structures, both residential and commercial. Their proven track record in delivering projects on time, or at times, even earlier than scheduled, is another testament to commitment for delivery of the projects. Integrity, dependability and stability of the developer are major criteria when choosing to invest in a new home.

For Oriental Gardens Makati, expected delivery is set for 2004, but currently, the 31-storey Orchid tower is already at the 29th floor of construction, and topping off is tentatively scheduled for the 3rd quarter of this year. That’s approximately 18 months since they broke ground in February of last year.

Aside from Oriental Gardens Makati’s ongoing construction, the scenery and ambience in the area is also undergoing facelifts as well. The Pasong Tamo rehabilitation, which is part of the Secondary Roads Program of the World Bank-funded Metro Manila Urban Transport Integration Project (MMURTRIP) and handled by the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), is declogging the drainage system to remove flooding in the area. The MMDA is also reclaiming and clearing pedestrian sidewalks of obstruction, raising the curbside elevation, installing pedestrian barriers, designating of loading/unloading bays for public transport and landscaping of the area.
