FilBarcelo assumes mgm’t of Club Punta Fuego

Landco Pacific Corp. and Roxaco Land Corp., developers of Peninsula de Punta Fuego and Terrazas de Punta Fuego, the exclusive beach residential communities in Nasugbu, Batangas, recently appointed FilBarcelo Hotels & Properties Management Corp. to manage operations of Club Punta Fuego.

Earlier, both Landco and Roxaco invested equal shares in FilBarcelo as part of their strategic thrust to enter the hospitality/tourism service industry. FilBarcelo is the Philippine licensee of Barcelo Hotels and Resorts. Based in Palma Majorca, Spain, Barcelo Hotels and Resorts owns and manages hotels in Europe, USA, Africa, and Latin America with the Philippines as their maiden venture into Asia.

Club Punta Fuego is an exclusive membership club with facilities in both Peninsula de Punta Fuego and Terrazas de Punta Fuego. With FilBarcelo’s entry, the partners assure themselves of assimilating the appropriate technology and skills required to profitably operate hotel and resort properties along international standards.

Fil Barcelo holds the Philippine and Asian trademarks to use the Barcelo quality standards in its hotel and resort operations including its advance reservation and property management systems, sales networks, promotions and manuals, policies and procedures.
