Worldbex 2003 is biggest construction show in RP

What’s in store for the Philippine construction industry in 2003?

The answers and expectations await the industry decision-makers and the public in Worldbex 2003, the 8th Philippine World Building and Construction Exposition set on March 19 to 23 at the World Trade Center (WTC) and Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC) in Pasay City.

Organized by Worldbex Services International (WSI), Worldbex 2003 is the 8th presentation of the Philippines’ largest and ultimate building and construction trade show with the most comprehensive gathering of innovative, functional and dynamic building and construction products and services worldwide.

With the theme "Leading Global Construction Beyond Innovation", this five-day trade show will feature the latest and leading products and services in the building and construction industry, which will be showcased in more than 8,000 square meters of exhibition space of WTC and over 2,000 square meters expanse of PTTC.

This year’s trade show will also feature real estate and housing, safety and security, landscape and interiors, national and grand embassy pavilions. Over 500 exhibitors from 20 participating countries are expected to showcase their products from all around the globe to be witnessed by an expected 40,000 attendees.

Joseph L. Ang, WSI founding chairman is confident that Worldbex 2003 will draw another huge success as it had in the past as the event continues to open doors for the convergence of cutting-edge construction products, services and technology from various countries.

"Through Worldbex 2003, we hope to give key players of the global building and construction industry a chance to market their products and technology to the country, that can possibly give way to business investments here, and at the same time bring good opportunities for significant partnerships and exchanges among industry players," Ang said.

The major exhibitors of Worldbex 2003 consist of major players in building materials, equipment and services, interior design and renovation, mechanical and electrical engineering systems, security and fire equipment, construction promotion, government and private institutions, information technology and telecommunications for construction.

WSI has secured the support of 23 industry associations, the US Commercial Service and the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines for the said trade show.
