PAREB-Rizal sets E-Home Expo

-
The country’s first attempt to create an interactive website for the real estate industry – where customers can search for property projects according to their needs and budgets – will be the theme of the E-Home Expo, a fair organized by the Philippine Association of Realtors Boards, Inc. (PAREB)-Rizal Board in cooperation with HUDCC.

E-Home Expo will be held on Sept. 13 to 15 at the Megatrade Hall in Megamall. Although it will look like an ordinary real estate exhibition with scale models and brochures of development projects, the E-Home Expo will distinguish itself with the Internet Lounge where visitors can search for properties according to their budgets and requirements.

According to Maloy Garcia, president of PAREB-Rizal Board, this will be the first time that a fair will feature an Internet based real estate multi-listing system.

"We aim to encourage the developers and real estate practitioners and allied professionals to go on line. At present, only about 35 percent of developers have static websites where you can only view projects."

The E-Home Expo is being managed by Convex, International, professional exhibitions managers, headed by Agnes Escalante. It is supported by the Realty Services Council of the Philippines (RESCOP), the Subdivision and Housing Developers Association (SHDA), Department of Trade and Industry, Social Security System, GSIS and OWWA.

Its sponsors are: Ledesco Development Corp., Fil-Estate Group of Companies, Camp John Hay Dev. Corp., CAP Tech, Ayala Land, Sta. Lucia.
