Real estate tax seminar slated

Two important subjects in real estate business and practice will be conducted by Urban Institute of Real Estate on Aug. 24, 1:30 to 6 p.m. at Joni’s Bakeshop at Pasay Road cor. Paseo de Roxas, Makati City.

To be taken up at 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. is Real Estate Taxation, which covers what taxes to pay, basis and how to compute; when and where to pay, BIR forms, exemptions from capital gains tax, e-vat for real estate, estate and donor’s tax, latest Revenue regulations and other updates. At 4-6 p.m. is "Keys to a Successful Real Estate Office," which will cover the following topics: Scope of business operations, organizational structure, the office manager, recruitment techniques, advancement and career path programs, training programs, retention programs, commission structures, awards and other incentives, multiple listing and franchising.
