Twenty countries sign up for Worldbex 2002

The list of participating countries to the 7th Philippines World Building and Construction Exposition (Worldbex 2002) gets longer with exhibitors totaling 20 countries signing up.
Making up the initial list of international participants to Asias largets and most comprehensive exposition on building and construction products and services are China, Italy, Iran, Taiwan, Thailand, France, Denmark, Italy, New Zealand, Romania, Netherlands, Finland, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and the Philippines.
Set to put up country pavilions are exhibitors from the USA, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia and Korea.
One of the major highlights of Worldbex 2002 is the Grand Embassy Pavilion where government and trade offices of various countries will serve as information and resource centers.
"The participation of exhibitors from these countries has further bolstered the international prestige of Worldbex," said Joseph Ang, founding chairman of Worldbex Services International, the event organizer.
The ultimate in building and construction exposition in Asia, Worldbex 2002 expects to attract over 35,000 visitors, trade professionals, contractors, manufacturers, distributors, exporters, importers, international specificers, representatives from the private and government sector as well as from the diplomatic corps.
According to Ang, Worldbex has already received confirmation on the participation of some 400 exhibitors and 23 industry associations." We have earlier gotten strong support from the US Commercial Service and the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines," Ang added.
Other highlights of Worldbex 2002, slated from March 13 to 18, 2002 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City, include the 4th Worldbex Seminars, the Cyber Village, Housing and Realty Pavilion, Business Matching Center and Onstage Product Demonstrations.
