The Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board (HLURB) recently ordered Salvador Housing and Development Corporation (SHDC), owner-developer of Our Lady of Perpetual Succor Ville Subdivision (OLOPSVILLE) in Barangay Gulod Malaya, San Mateo, Rizal, to refrain from selling its housing units and conducting any further marketing activity. In the Notice of Violation sent to Dionisio A. Salvador, president of SHDC, HLURB cited the developer lfrom committing regulatory violations that include selling without License to Sell, advertisement without prior approval and failure to secure Certificate of Registration.
HLURB, aside from stopping the further sale of OLOPSVILLE housing units, also directed SHDC to cease and desist from collecting amortizations from buyers who have already purchased units in the housing village. Accordingly, SHDC only secured the barangay permit for the construction of a residential unit which turned, out to be a high-end subdivision.
SHDC is also presently involved in a civil case with the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) and the Modesta Village Homeowners Association, Inc.
