Condominium management seminar set

A professional development seminar on "Condominium Management" is slated for Nov. 21 and 23, Wednesday and Friday, from 6-9 p.m., to be held at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) Conference Center, ACCEED Building, Benavidez Street, Legaspi Village, Makati City.
This is a two-day comprehensive program to be presented by the Philippine Association of Building Administrators, Inc. (PABA), jointly with the Condominium Management Association of the Philippines, Inc. (CMAP), in cooperation with the Philippine Institute of Building Management Foundation, Inc., with its secretariat at the United Life Building, 8th floor, 837 Arnaiz Avenue (Pasay Road), Legaspi Village, Makati City, with tells. 819-2656, 892-6037 and fax no. 893-0155, with e-mail address: [email protected].
Val S. Abeng, PABA and CMAP president, said, that with the development of condominium projects, has focused the need for qualified and professional building administrators and property managers, experience in the operations, maintenance, supervision and administration of commercial, industrial, residential condominiums, office condominiums, subdivisions and townhouse condominiums, and the administration of its incorporations and associations.
In line with demands for such professional condominium administrators and property managers, the seminar program being the only training and development seminar available in the field of building and property management industry, will provide the qualifications, basic roles, the duties and responsibilities of condominium administrators and property managers. The seminar shall provide the much-needed comprehensive background for the professional management and administration of new and existing condominium development projects. Seminar participants will broaden their knowledge and understanding of the "Condominium Act" under the Republic Act No. 4726, the legal aspects of management and the familiarized with the management organizational set-up and its staffing, government requirements and regulations of condominium management, the Master Deed and Declaration of Restrictions, its articles of incorporation, the by-laws, house rules and regulations, projected annual budget operating expenses, the assessments and collections of condominium association dues.
