Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) displayed its latest line-up of Blue Power Euro IV and Euro V emissions-compliant trucks while highlighting the different advantages of purchasing Isuzu trucks at the recently concluded 2018 Isuzu Truck Fest.

Held at the SMX Convention Center Pasay, Isuzu conduced its annual truck display last weekend, which attracted truck buyers as the company showcased its full truck lineup sporting different body applications, along with special discounts and promotions, some of which will run until the end of the month.

“Our company has been the consistent No. 1 truck brand in the country for 18 years. Isuzu globally is known for its durable and dependable trucks that can withstand the challenging business operations; but what is more important is the support that we provide to our clients along with every purchase—and this is the Isuzu Advantage,” said IPC President Hajime Koso.

During the show, IPC explained the different customer support programs the company offers which they refer to as the “Isuzu Advantage.”

First is IPC’s nationwide dealer network that now has more than 40 outlets complete with servicing facilities for trucks. This number is expected to increase as the company rolls out further network expansion later this year.

Second, is Isuzu trucks’ nationwide parts availability, for which the company established a 6,000 square-meter warehouse facility last year done in partnership with DB Schenker (Schenker Distribution Solutions Inc).

Third is IPC’s expert service technicians, which includes Japanese truck field engineers who are available to support and answer any customer technical requirements.

Fourth is IPC’s specialized service trucks called the Isuzu Mobile Medic. These service trucks not only provide roadside assistance to fleet customers, but are also able to perform routine truck inspection and repair to fleet customers.

Finally, IPC conducts training for drivers and mechanics such as heavy-duty truck safety driving and even an eco-driving program.

During this year’s Truck Fest, Isuzu showcased the following models: N-Series light-duty truck in seven body applications (Isuzu NLR 77 Flexitruck, NLR85 Refrigerated Van cooling by MIT-AIR, NMR85 Cab & Chassis, NPR85 Aluminum Van with tailgate, NQR75 Dropside, NKR71 NCOOL Fruehauf Refrigerated Van cooling by DENSO, and the special Fruehauf Refrigerated cut-away van body).

For the F-Series medium-duty truck line, Isuzu displayed the FSR34 Flatbed, FVR34 Dropside with crane and the FVM34 G-CARGO Fruehauf Wing Van. Meanwhile for the C&E Series, there was the CYZ Dump Truck, EXR52 Tractor Head and EXZ52 Tractor Head with Trailer.

Also part of the Truck Fest was Isuzu’s D-MAX pickup, which sees the D-MAX fitted with FlexiQube body, a refrigerated van body by Coolaire, and one that had a crane at the back. The show also served as a public preview of the single-cab variant of the D-MAX powered by the 1.9-liter RZ4E Blue Power engine.

Finally, IPC used the occasion to publicly launch the new Isuzu QKR light-duty truck. During the show, it took on the form of three Public Utility Vehicle (PUV) prototypes designed by CENTRO, Almazora, and Santarosa Motor.

While the 2018 Truck Fest has ended, the good news is IPC extending its special price discount. Applicable at all authorized Isuzu dealerships nationwide, every closed truck transaction until June 30, 2018 gets an additional P35,000 discount.
