Lakas ng Barako, puso ng Pinoy Kawasaki unleashes Barako II

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - For the hardworking men whose everyday lives are spent on the road—the tricycle drivers, the delivery boys, and all the other motorcyclists—it takes great focus and intense drive for them to reach their dreams. Their livelihood requires strength to traverse challenging destinations. And it demands enormous emotional endurance to sustain their unwavering determination. Qualities that these men possess.

Kawasaki recognizes these strong qualities of Filipino men. And to this end, Kawasaki Motors (Phils) Corp. introduces its latest model, the Barako II, with its new colors and graphics to commemorate the strength of a tough guy and the heart of a Filipino.

The new Barako II now wears the elements of the Philippine flag—three stars and a sun artistically painted on its fuel tank. It comes in three different paint finishes: Ebony Black, Candy Plasma Blue, and Candy Fire Red.

The Kawasaki Barako II boasts of an engine that’s 15 percent more powerful than that of its predecessor. Compared to the first Barako, the Barako II is 13 percent more fuel-efficient, allowing the Filipino rider to go farther. It is also equipped with the proprietary Kawasaki Automatic Compression Release System (KACR), which makes engine kick-starts easier. That’s why together with its telescopic front fork and heavy-duty rear shock absorbers, the Barako II promises a smooth ride from start to finish.

The road to success may be a long and challenging journey. But with the toughness of the new BARAKO II, and the qualities of the “barako” men, no road is impassable and no dream is unreachable.
