Tata Manza: Affordable new sedan to suit the city lifestyle

MANILA, Philippines - Tata Motors has launched the all-new Tata Manza – a sedan that aims to set a new benchmark for sedan buyers in the compact car segment.

The Tata Manza is a high-value, easy-to-drive and cost-effective sedan with features that give great options for everyday driving. With comfortable interiors, state-of-the-art technology features, and good looks to match, the car is all about form and function.

The Manza is powered by Tata’s Safire petrol engine—an inline 1.4-liter 4-cylinder motor that gives the Manza a maximum engine power of 90ps at 6000 rpm and maximum torque of 116Nm at 4750 rpm.

The Tata Manza promises a smooth ride with its independent suspension outfitted with a lower wishbone and Macpherson struts with coil spring and anti-roll bar front suspension, and a twist beam with coil spring and hydraulic shock absorbers for a semi-independent rear suspension.

Looks-wise, it has chrome accents on the grill, three–barrel headlamps and 15- inch wheels. It comes in Cavern Grey, Porcelain White, Jet Silver, Spice Red, and Infinity Black. Its interiors and upholstery are in rich, deep shades of black and plum. For convenience, there are handy cupholders in the armrests plus a slide-out tray in the glove compartment. For comfort, there is a powerful air conditioning system as well as one-touch power windows. The seats have an adjustable lumbar support system and to complement the spacious legroom.

Safety and security are also the Manza’s top concerns. It has a collapsible steering column and steering lock with immobilizer and side-impact protection. A remote-controlled keyless entry system leads to a safer and quicker entrance into the vehicle.

For entertainment and connectivity, there is a USB AUX-IN jack for the audio system to allow the Manza to connect with a smartphone or other mobile device.  A 460-liter luggage space accommodates vacation essentials, big items, work equipment, and other necessities.

Still, the best news about the Tata Manza is its attractive price point. It retails for a very affordable P600,000.00 and comes with a 100,000km or three-year warranty.
