IMS combines the components of quality, environment and occupational health and safety management systems into a single framework to efficiently and effectively realize the organization’s goal. MMPC first acquired certification for its Quality Management System or ISO 9002:1994 in 1999 and for its Environmental Management System or ISO 14001:1996 in 2001. Since then, MMPC has consistently maintained certification to both Quality and Environmental Management Systems, eventually acquiring the latest versions, ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004, respectively. On its quest for continual improvement, MMPC embarked on another international standard known as the Occupational Health & Safety Assessment Series and was recently granted certification to BS OHSAS 18001:2007. Through effective implementation of this Standard, MMPC gives due importance on the welfare of its employees by providing them with a healthy and a safe workplace.
