Chevrolet Philippines launches Truck Month promo

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Chevrolet has long been known for its great line of trucks. From the 490 series in 1918 to the global Colorado truck in 2012, Chevrolet’s iconic heritage and storied trucking history have touched the hearts of families for generations as it exhibits top quality performance, dependable durability and commendable safety features. That being said, Chevrolet Philippines offers the Filipino market a better opportunity to drive home their very own Chevrolet truck through the Chevrolet Truck Month promo campaign.

Chevrolet Philippines launches its first Truck Month campaign with the belief that the Filipino family deserves to experience the heritage and world class standards of a Chevrolet truck.

“We are astonished and thankful on how fast the Filipino market has accepted and patronized the Chevrolet brand. Our Sales figures have grown significantly every year. Bulk of the growth can be attributed to the entry of our large vehicles namely the Chevrolet Colorado and Trailblazer. To show our appreciation, we are providing easy payment plans, discount on accessories and cash discounts for cash purchases” says The Covenant Car Company, Inc. President Atty. Alberto Arcilla.

Chevrolet Truck highlights

At the heart of each Chevrolet truck based vehicle is a powerful diesel engine equipped with cutting edge technology, advanced turbocharging and efficient fuel systems. The Duramax diesel engine, developed by General Motors to power the Colorado and the Trailblazer, is built to endure the harshest driving conditions. Available in 2.5 and 2.8-liter displacements and made with graphite-coated cast-aluminum pistons to reduce friction and improve response, the engine is designed to deliver massive yet efficient power. To boost the power and deliver it consistently throughout the rev range, the Duramax engine is also equipped with a high-pressure common-rail direct-injection (CRDi) system and a variable geometry turbocharger (VGT).

The Trailblazer is an SUV that provides exceptional riding comfort and class leading safety features which includes rear disc brakes, Antilock Brake System (ABS), Dynamic Brake Distribution, Panic Brake Assist, Cornering Brake Control, Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control.

The 2013 Captiva retains its reliable features and flexible seating but an upgraded transmission with six speeds and eco mode make it more fuel efficient. The 2.0-liter engine gets a 140-horsepower bump to 163.
