Italy celebrates Festa della Repubblica

MANILA, Philippines - The Embassy of Italy in Manila celebrated the Italian National Day in a red carpet event held at the Manila Peninsula Hotel last 6 June 2013. The event commemorated the institutional referendum of 1946 when Italy established a new Republic replacing the Monarchy after World War II.

Italian Ambassador Massimo Roscigno led the momentous occasion in partnership with Lamborghini Manila, which is also celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the founding of the super sports car manufacturer Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. by Ferruccio Lamborghini on 30 October 1963 in Sant’ Agata Bolognese where the company still stands today.

The Embassy celebrates with Lamborghini its 50 years of extreme, uncompromising and Italian sports cars—a true symbol of their nation’s artistry.

The limited edition Lamborghini Gallardo Noctis LP560-4 in Midnight Blue was also displayed especially for the event.
