Volvo Cars Asia Pacific heads visit Volvo PH; VCAP President extends full support for PH growth

MANILA, Philippines - Volvo Philippines’ optimism for 2013 is made even brighter as Volvo Cars Asia Pacific (VCAP) top executives visited the country recently. VCAP President, Carl Goran Larsson, VCAP Chief Finance Officer Miss Roslin Ooi, and VCAP Regional Business Manager Ai Phing Teh expressed their continued support for Volvo Philippines and its programs to push the Scandinavian luxury brand in the local market.

“We remain confident in the team and continue to look forward to a heightened growth in the Philippine market with the new dealership network and product introductions. The opening of two new dealerships in the first quarter of 2013 also bodes well for Volvo in the Philippines, as these showrooms will cater to the Volvo market in the north and south of Metro Manila. During the visit, the VCAP officers were able to see Volvo Cars North EDSA Centris in Quezon City and Volvo Alabang at Filinvest Corporate City in Muntinlupa. These new additions to the Volvo family will complement the efforts of the existing dealerships in Volvo Makati, Volvo Cebu, Volvo Iloilo and Volvo Bacolod.

In addition to the new dealers, Volvo Philippines is set to launch two entirely new Volvos this year—the premium five-door five-seater hatchback All-New Volvo V40 and its capable all-roader version, the All-New Volvo V40 Cross Country. Available in gasoline and diesel variants, these new products set a new standard for intelligent, indulgent, and ingeniously safe vehicles.
