Chevrolet Philippines Opens new Dealership in Baliuag Bulacan

The Philippine Star

Over 100 years of automotive heritage and excellence comes closer to the people of Central Luzon as Chevrolet Philippines – The Covenant Car Company Inc. (TCCCI) opens its new home in Baliuag, Bulacan. A city known for its garments and pyrotechnic industries, Baliuag is one of the most progressive towns in Bulacan. Home to 143,500 residents, Chevrolet believes that Baliuag has a huge market potential for its cars as the town embodies the same characteristics that the brand promotes – everyday heroes that strive to attain excellence.

A passion for cars:

Chevrolet Baliuag Bulacan will be operated by REV-UP Automobile Corp.; one of the many companies under the management of Mr. Josel and Mrs. Evie Violago. Prior to the dealership, the Violagos have handled automotive related businesses such as multiple GT Oil gas stations and distributorship of Castrol lubricants for region 1 and 2.

Apart from being a certified car enthusiast, the business of trading cars goes a long way back for the Violagos. During their younger years as a couple, Josel and Evie made good business in buying and selling secondhand cars. From this endeavor they were able to pave the way for bigger businesses. “I have always believed in destiny. In business there is no such thing as accidents. Things happen for a reason and you have to keep your eyes peeled to maximize the opportunities that come your way. We have had several attempts to become a dealer for other automotive brands but it never materialized. Things just didn’t fall into place. It was only with Chevrolet that everything went smoothly and we took it as a sign. This is destiny for us. We know that with TCCCI leading the way, we are in good hands. This will be a fun ride to success for REV-UP Automobile Corp.- said Mr. Josel Violago, President of Chevrolet Baliuag.

Sharing the blessings:

The Violagos consider their new dealership as a big blessing from above. Not only do they get to live their dream of having their very own dealership but they are also given the opportunity to provide more jobs to the people of Baliuag Bulacan. Currently they have 800 employees under the Violago group of companies. “Our businesses are not just about earning profit. We believe that blessings should always be shared. We try our best to enrich the lives of every employee that we work with so that they will have opportunity to succeed and be a blessing to others as well.” said by Ms. Evie Violago, CEO of REV-UP Automobile Corp.

A perfect match:

The partnership between Chevrolet Philippines and REV-UP Automobile Corp. is a perfect fit as both companies share the same vision and uphold the same values. Both believe in achieving success through hard work, perseverance and teamwork while observing integrity in all business operations is their common guiding principle. “We see so much of ourselves in REV-UP . We are both young companies that aspire to make a difference in the automotive industry. Just like REV-UP, TCCCI started small. With just 12 dealerships and a limited car line-up, we slowly but surely inched our way to make a significant contribution to the industry. In just 3 years we were able to expand the network to19 operational dealerships nationwide and signed on 6 additional dealers. We successfully launched new car models that cater to various target market. Last year we launched the Chevrolet Colorado - Chevrolet’s first entry for the pick-up segment, the Chevrolet Sonic, a sub-compact sedan that proves form and function can co-exist and the Chevrolet Trailblazer, a medium size SUV that has the perfect combination of style, performance, space and comfort.

We believe that REV-UP Automobiles has all the qualities to become a major player in the automotive scene in Bulacan, their determination and enthusiasm to promote the brand is nothing less than inspiring  â€“ said TCCCI’s President and Managing Director, Atty. Albert Arcilla.

A night of fun filled celebration:

Apart from the formal ground breaking of the Chevrolet Baliuag, Bulacan dealership, a program was also put together by the Violago family for the attendees and participants of the event. The evening was filled with exciting musical entertainment performed by local showbiz personalities. Among the notable celebrities were Jennifer lee, Luke Miejares, Gian Magdangal and the all-female group Pretty Young Thing. After the sumptuous dinner buffet and in between the live performances, games and prizes were in-store for the employees of the Violago group of companies. “It is our little way of thanking our employees for the hard work and dedication that they contribute to the company. They are the most important component  in the success of our companies.” – Mr. Josel Violago said.

Chevrolet Baliuag, Bulacan is set to start operation by 2nd quarter of the year. The new Chevrolet showroom will have a total 180sqm. lot area which will accommodate 6 car displays and 8 service work bay stations.  To know more about Chevrolet you may log on to www.chevrolet.com.ph or visit our facebook page: Chevrolet Philippines.
