Ford bags 3 awards at annual C! Magazine Awards

MANILA, Philippines - C! Magazine held its annual C! Magazine Awards where Ford Philippines bagged three awards including Best Sub-Compact for the 1.6L Ford Fiesta Sport Plus, Best Pickup for the 2.2L Ford Ranger XLT and Best Mid-Size Executive SUV for the 3.5L Ford Explorer V6 Limited.

Awarded as the Best Sub-Compact, the all-new 1.6L Ford Fiesta Sport Plus, which was launched in February this year, continues to attract many new-to-Ford customers with its first-in-class smart technologies such as Bluetooth with Voice Control and Ford’s innovative six-speed, dual-clutch automatic PowerShift transmission.

The class-defining all-new Ford Ranger made its much-anticipated debut at the Manila International Auto Show earlier this year. The new Ranger proved incredibly popular in its first month of sales in the Philippines with sales of 246 units in July, representing the best-ever sales of the compact pickup since its introduction in the Philippines in 1999.

The all-new 3.5L Ford Explorer Limited continues to redefine the SUV segment offering industry-exclusive smart technologies such as the award winning in-car connectivity system Ford SYNC featuring MyFord Touch, Terrain Management System, Active Park Assist, Lane Keeping System, and the world’s-first inflatable second-row seatbelts.
