Honda donates to PHL flood victims

MANILA, Philippines - Honda extends its deepest sympathy and condolences to victims of last week’s devastating monsoon rains and floods. To support the affected areas, the Honda group of companies will provide approximately P1.5 million toward the relief and recovery efforts, broken down as follows: Honda Motor Co., Ltd. with 1 million Yen (approximately P500,000) and Honda Foundation, Inc. with P1 million.

Honda Motor Co., Ltd., based in Tokyo, Japan, is the parent company of the Honda group of companies in the Philippines, while Honda Foundation, Inc. is the working organization for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities of Honda group of companies in the Philippines.

The Honda Group of Companies in the Philippines include Honda Philippines, Inc. (manufacturer and distributor of Honda motorcycles and power products), Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (manufacturer and distributor of Honda automobiles), Honda Parts Manufacturing Corp. (manufacturer of automobile component parts), and Honda Trading Philippines Corp. (trading company).
