2011 Auto Focus Motorshow to open on November 10-13 at SM MOA

MANILA, Philippines - The year’s biggest outdoor motorshow is coming soon. The “2011 AUTO FOCUS MOTORSHOW and AUTO EXPO” is set for November 10-13, 2011 at the open concert area (behind SMX) of the SM Mall of Asia. Scheduled to jibe with the traditional peak automobile buying period of the year, it will again be one of the biggest and widest displays and test drives of current models ever assembled in one single area. Twelve of the country’s manufacturers and distributors will be present to showcase their low to high end range of automobiles in what will be the 7th annual staging of this major motoring industry event organized by Sunshine Television Production & Marketing Services Corp. (STV), presented by BDO Auto Loan and co-sponsored by Caltex with Techron, the SM Mall of Asia, and SM Tickets with The Philippine STAR as prime media partner.

As Auto Focus and Motoring Today TV host and STV Chairman/CEO Ray Butch Gamboa said, “The 12 local car makers and distributors in this year’s motorshow will present one of the most varied displays of high to lower end current models and offer some of the best promotional deals available to buyers. The top and most popular models from Audi, BMW, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Isuzu, Kia, Lexus, Nissan, Porsche, Subaru, Toyota and Volvo will be there, and a select but wide choice of models will be available for test drives. And likewise, this will also be the ideal chance to see first-hand the winners of the 2011-12 Auto Focus People’s Choice Awards in the 13 Model of the Year categories and the 2011-12 Automobile of the Year!”

The 4-day exhibit will again be a mecca for car enthusiasts and buyers. It will be a veritable “one-stop shop” that will provide much welcome and convenient relief from the ordeal of hopping from one dealer showroom to another in search of the model or offer of choice. And, auto loans at special low, low financing rates will be offered by BDO Auto Loan exclusively for buyers at the motorshow. BDO will open a centrally-situated reception area at the venue to accommodate their customers.

A special and unique feature event of the motorshow will be a grand showdown of 30 of the year’s prize and award winning modified car. The category and Best in Show awardees will be determined not by the usual technical judging panel, but through public voting.

The “2011 AUTO FOCUS MOTORSHOW and AUTO EXPO” will be open to visitors from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm throughout November 10-13. Admission is free.
