MANILA, Philippines - The word “tough” means strong and resilient. It also means being able to withstand great strain without tearing or breaking. From the country’s leading strong beer now comes a unique Colt 45 Tough Truck, which a real tough man deserves.
That first and only Colt 45 Tough Truck is now owned by Jesus de Sola Jr., a 36-year old sari-sari store owner in Pangasinan, who won one of the two grand prizes in the Colt 45 Vava Vroom Real Man promo. The Colt 45 Tough Truck is a Ford 4x4 modified by trendsetter Ramon To-Ong of 199 Off Road House.
Aside from his tricycle, the Colt 45 Tough Truck was Jesus’ first big vehicle. Although he has only used the vehicle for errands around town, Jesus now plans to go on a road trip with the family with his new ride.
“People usually ask me where I got my truck – they especially like the unique decals. It really separates itself from every other vehicle in the road,” said Jesus. “Now, whenever I tell the story behind my Tough Truck, people keep asking when the next Vava Vroom promo will be.”
As Jesus drives his Tough Truck to nearby places, he feels the cold sea breeze of Pangasinan and takes pride in his ride, as well as in the only strong beer that real men recognize.
