Honda Cars Makati, Inc. and ABS-CBN Foundation, Inc. (Bantay Kalikasan) partner to Save the La Mesa Watershed

MANILA, Philippines – Honda Cars Makati Inc. (HCMI) recently signed an agreement with ABS-CBN Foundation, Inc. (AFI)-Bantay Kalikasan to signify its support and active participation in forest protection efforts.

True to its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, HCMI, with its five branches in Makati, Pasig, Alabang, Shaw and Global City, gave a donation which will help in protecting a one-hectare forest area at the La Mesa Watershed for a period of three years.

The donation made by HCMI will be used for water production, soil erosion prevention and flood control, carbon dioxide sink, and to build the La Mesa Watershed as a bio-diversity nature park for appreciation of the general public. 

HCMI actively promotes environmental consciousness and nature preservation through various Corporate Social Responsibility programs.
