Suzuki Smash: the perfect novice bike

-

MANILA, Philippines - With the growing popularity of motorcycles as a mode of transportation among Filipino motorists, more and more novice riders are looking for an entry-level bike with proven performance and durability.

Taking note of the unique needs of consumers who are just adapting to the motorcycle lifestyle, Suzuki Philippines introduced the Suzuki Smash Revolution as an ideal bike for novice riders. Designed for everyday use, its high-revving, strong-pulling 110cc is also extremely economical. This is thanks to Suzuki’s patented Pulsed Secondary Air Injection (PAIR) system that maximizes engine efficiency by igniting unburned gases inside the exhaust port.

For rider convenience, the Suzuki Smash Revolution comes with an electric starter and 4-speed constant mesh transmission. Its coil-spring, oil-damped suspension system is telescopic for the front and swing-arm type for the rear. This is complemented by front and rear drum brakes.

Improved bodyworks and trendy decals give the Suzuki Smash Revolution its distinctively sporty look and fashionable style.

Although not designed as a racing bike, the Suzuki Smash Revolution has proven its winning qualities by dominating the 115 Open and 115 Sports Production categories, taking home the championship titles in the 2009 national series. In the season-ender held last October 18, 2009, at the Clark International Speedway, Team Suzuki clinched its championship points with 1-2 finishes by Johnlery Enriquez and Paul Mark Doblada, both riding the Suzuki Smash Revolution in the 115 Open and 115 Sport Production classes.

With its commitment to bring mobility to Filipino consumers, Suzuki Philippines is the only integrated motoring company carrying both automobile and motorcycle products under one roof. Its manufacturing philosophy is grounded on providing value-packed, high-quality products offering both reliability and originality.

Globally, Suzuki employs over 45,000 people, has over 40 main production facilities in 23 countries, and distributors in 192 countries. Suzuki R&D efforts cover a wide range of the latest advances in energy, environment, electronics, communication, information and control applications – all devoted to creating products what will meet the challenges of the next generation.
