Universal Motors Corporation's after sales division bags top plum in global tilt

MANILA, Philippines - Universal Motors Corporation (UMC) celebrates the victory of its After Sales Division after being hailed as the Nissan 2008 World Aftersales Progress Club (WAPC) Grand Prize Winner. The WAPC honors the best National Sales Companies (NSCs) which have posted overall dramatic growth and performance in the previous fiscal year.

Mr. Masaki Nishizawa, Corporate Vice President of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. Japan sent his congratulatory message to Cristina Teehankee, Executive Vice President of UMC Aftersales. Mr. Nishizawa cited UMC Aftersales Division on its resilience and success amidst challenging economic times. He further stated that the overall performance of the company’s Aftersales Division is exceptionally remarkable and reiterated his confidence that UMC Aftersales will continue to enhance total profit value chain in the company and increase the number of loyal customers to sustain Nissan’c corporate commitments and vehicle sales.

Ms. Teehankee, on behalf of the entire UMC Aftersales Team, acknowledged the wholehearted support of Universal Motors Corporation, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., Nissan Asia Pacific, the Nissan Aftersales Dealer Network and loyal Nissan customers in the Philippines.
